Hey all!
The other night some friends and I went out to a housewarming party and then went to two bars. One was dressy and the other was the opposite, but I felt good about what I had on in both locations which is a tough fashion challenge to tackle. Here it is! Easy and Perfect French Mani
Today after work I went in to Shoppers Drug Mart, because I needed a new Clinique lipgloss. My nails were on the verge of chipping so I picked up a few things to do a French manicure, and I am so impressed I wanted to show you what I bought! The nail strips are by Nailene, and the polishes are rimmel. Highly reccomended! All in I think I spent $15 and these products will last a long time.

Neon and Color Blocking
Hey everyone!
My outfit today really inspired me to talk a little bit about two trends that are all over the place, that I am LOVING; neon and color blocking. These trends are right up my alley because they are so fun, and a breath of fresh air if you are like me and you tend to buy everything in nude, white, black of grey... Here's what I did with the two trends in combination. I was going out to dinner earlier this evening to a really casual place, but I work in a fashion forward environment so I would (will tomorrow most likely) wear this type of outfit to work.
I think it's a good idea to stick with solids when it comes to color blocking. As you may be able to tell there is a really subtle stripe on my top but it's not noticeable. My jeans are coral, and I think it's a good idea to stick within a certain colour palette in color blocking. If the jeans were a deep cherry red I wouldn't advice the neon green clutch. I chose really simple jewelry and very plain shoes with this look, because I think the colors are enough for the eye to be interested with, and any more elements like statement jewelry would ruin the simple stylishness of the look. I think that's all I have to say, but hopefully you are inspired to try out neon and color blocking together, trust me this look turns heads!

Introduction
That's me! |
Hi everyone!
I am 22 years old, living in Canada and I just recently graduated with my undergrad degree, and went travelling to New Zealand and Tahiti. I'm back now, and my life is kind of in transition. This past weekend at a party I found myself explaining in detail to a group of girls how to apply false eyelashes, and then how to get "airbrushed" looking legs, and someone said "Wow! You need to start a blog!" So I thought, why not? I read beauty blogs all the time for inspiration and how tos, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve to, so here I am.
